Gorilla glue is also extremely caustic on metal components. When making scabbards for example, even the wood can rust steel if it has a high tanin content. Rule of thumb is the darker the wood the more tanin it has. Anyways yeah please be careful with gorilla glue near metal. Hide glue and fish/rabbit glue is a good historical adhesive that can be removed with applied heat but be very careful as that shit will get everywhere. The titebond hide glue in the brown bottles they sell at your local woodworking store is good.
>Anyone else buy cheap cutoffs for knife grips and pistol grips theoretically but never actually use them? I have so much maple, walnut, and other figured woods for cheap like picrel.
