"I Will Survive" is for the pro-life movement what "Uncle Tom's Cabin" was for the anti-slavery movement. It is instantly memorable and memeable because it uses characters from a children's movie to talk about a serious subject, which is funny and makes people share it with their friends because it's funny. But underneath that humor is a serious pro-life message: Abortion is wrong. Abortion is killing a baby. Women who get abortions are selfish and evil. And best of all, it reaches the demographic that pro-lifers are most desperate to reach: Young people. It is unironically the most effective piece of pro-life propaganda ever produced.
