My theory is kinda similar, but has a much higher chance of being rendered retarded in the future, basically, what I think we happen to be seeing with the egg rooms is basically kris's life, from the time we meet him to his early childhood. 1st room represents Kris as we meet him, 2nd one represents his childhood with the dreemurr family, 3rd one representing his life before the dreemurrs, orphanage, possibly. And the 4th showing off the aftermath of whatever happened that had Kris either lose his parents or his parents lose custody of him, something that was so bad it had him admitted into art therapy. That's a very condensed version of my theory
