I'm actually depressed to see people celebrating the Switch 2 success to "own the haters" who "said it was gonna fail." This is a $450 product that STILL has problems with stick drifting. If you're paying that much for something shouldn't you expect it to work properly? Shouldn't you expect them to have fixed a problem that has been plaguing the original Switch for 7 years by now?
And yet people are celebrating this success as if it's some sort of big win. This is devastating for gaming because it means you can put minimal effort into your console, so much so that you still haven't fixed stick drift after all these years, and gamers will still reward you for it. If this can succeed with everything going against it, there's nothing they can't get away with.
