anyway i can see why it's the least popular in the series. Being able to only do one quest at a time really just makes upgrading paradise slow and the dungeons being repeating hallways make them a chore to go through, especially the longer ones, which is honestly a shame because imo it has the best cast of characters and the better story out of the pmds i played so far. I also really liked the partner in this game having a backstory and ambitions. Too bad there were barely any dialogue options to mess with them though
Now i only bothered patching the game to make the text speed 2x faster after i completed it and it makes everything so much better. leveling up fucking takes forever here that i consider this the optimal way to play it
spoilers ahead: I wonder, if this game came out one generation later would they have given the Voice of Life role to Xerneas? Well not literally because the twist wouldn't have worked but moreso have Hydreigon or another pokemon as one of their avatar before they "died"? this is literally just some speculating because they're pretty similar in concept but peraphs just having unexplainable forces of nature in the world makes it more mystic. what do you guys think?
The epilogue breaking the 4th wall was also kind of crazy and I didn't expect it
i do think it's worth playing (as long as you patch the text speed don't suffer like I did) if just for the story and characters
I'm also going to play the Wiiware games (Light Adventure Squad at least) after I finish playing Super, due to being Japan exclusive they're not talked about a lot even despite having gotten a translation not long ago. What's the consensus here aside from the models being dogshit
