Agree with all of this and the other thing I think it does well that other routes mostly don’t is have the previous 100 days have any actual emotional relevance to this go around outside of preventing Nozomi’s death again. Takumi mourns the loss of the friendships and times he had with SDU and falls into despair over his decisions that lead to him losing even more of the people he traveled back to save. It makes his relationship with Tsubasa/Yugamu/Darumi feel more earned and fleshed out because he actually redid the process of getting to know these people with what he lost in mind instead of everyone just slotting into the same general roles they had the first time.
