For last christmas, Ice Dragon Saga, many familiar characters had their VA's temporarily replaced since the original VAs were striking in solidarity with the SAG-AFTRA VAs. Some of these new ones seemed to be rush hired and did not match the characters well at all leading to it being a very awkward listening experience in english. I still have nightmares about the Poli VA they chose. However, the did manage to keep a hold on the original VAs for Maiden and Guillotine who are the main characters for that event so it's not all bad
