hey i grew up during the Venom craze too, i like the character but when you read era's like Conway,Ster, DeMattis or hell even Stranziski's Spider-man id be hard pressed to find a Venom story even half as good as Harry's Green Goblin arc.
And thats the thing. i like Venom but im old enough to see he was a product of the times, a time when edgy anti heroes where becoming the norm and Venom was the convinient edgy Spider-man Marvel needed
