On a somewhat lighter note, one of my favorite things to do was look at all the old "cabin tags", as we called them carved into the bunks and walls of the cabin. While vandalism was never allowed, a few of the cabins date back to the 50s, and while never officially allowed, we would never stop or get rid of the markings, and considering the oldest ones I found dated back to the ealry 70s, it was a tradition that outdated even the camp director.
