I have been a little while on this board in late 2022 and early 2023 and then left, so I am back here to ask, do you guys still make money or something? How are commissions? In my experience they fixed the hands in mid 2023 and then the image gen stayed pretty much perfect but stagnant to this day. When I go online I can still tell AI image from something someone drew, not photos most of the time, but drawings I can, and most NSFW sites have added already AI filter, so I guess thats something.

So how dead is art actually?

Like whole games from a single prompt. You just ask it to "make metroidvania with insects" and after few days it will spew at you Hollow Knight. How long until AI agents can code a whole game that isn't some assetflip nonsense you play for 30 min. I want to make a game but I'm scared that by the time I'm done AI will already beat me to it. Estimated time is like 1-2 years until I'm done.

Asking here instead of /v/ because here people know thing or two about computers and AI unlike /v/ which just knows how to complain about kid's media.
