I really hate how they're trying to soften her. By trying to "correct" her, they just turn her into a bland generic female counterpart. The best part about Amy was her tenacity. She wasn't just a princess to be rescued or a girl to fawn over. Sonic didn't want her, but she wanted him and she would do whatever she could to win him over. Why is a girl trying to improve herself frowned upon?
