Ah the “Bake’s Avenging Angels” regiment. They are the militant branch of a very fanatical Blakist sect with some… puritanical beliefs. So, to summarize:
- they hate all non-Blakist religions
- they hate any Blakist sect that tolerates other religions
- they hate traditional art
- they hate digital art
- they hate AI art
- they hate sculpture
- they hate dancing
- they hate music
- they hate bright colors
- they hate soft fabrics
- they hate any literature that’s not Blakist scripture
- they hate theater
- they hate film
- they hate television
- they hate sports
- they hate games
- they hate memes
- they hate humor
- they hate alcohol
- they hate sex (or at least the enjoyment of sex)
- they hate any food that doesn’t taste like styrofoam
- they hate parties
- and they hate swimming

And like any typical cult, they have an extremely controlling culture, so it’s not only against their beliefs to engage in any of these activities, but it goes against their beliefs to allow YOU to engage in these activities either. It should go without saying, but their leaders are a bunch of preening hypocrites.

Now, this sect has been around for a very long time, maybe even shortly after the founding of the cult of Blake, but in the past, ComStar was able to… kinda-sorta control the Avenging Angels, mostly. But since the Jihad, I don’t think anyone’s holding their leash anymore.

Their mechs can be identified by the gold & silver plating on their mechs (to give them a more angelic appearance).
