You can expand your base with new sidequests, expand your frigate with new sidequests, go hunt for derelicts, scavange crashed ships for parts, catalog species, freelance contracts for the governments, expand your frigate crew, form a settlement on a good planet, smuggle illegal goods, use legitimate goods to crash economies, hunt for corruption with nav data, hunt for rare stars, hunt for rare shit period with nav data, establish a war outpost near eggs or control towers, MANY OTHER THINGS BESIDES JUST PLAIN GRINDING A RESOURCE.
