They didnt give birth to the humans by choice, humans were a mutation the same way the aliens were. What he was watching was a horrible mutated version of himself, inferior in every way and the only thing he felt was horrid disgust.

Imagine taking a shit, forget to flush for some reason, then you go to sleep and then you're awakened by 5 walking, talking turds that yap in a language you dont understand and is stinking up the place and leaving trails of shit everwhere and now they demand to know why you've created them. You'd be pretty livid as well.

The rest of the movie is dumb as shit, but this part is pretty clear.
