I'd like to see a game jam where you have to make a game around one of the G4 toys/playsets. For example, you could make a game around Twilight Sparkle's Balloon, Applejack's truck, etc. It gives enough freedom for people to make games in a variety of genres, but also ties them to a few unifying elements, as I assume people will probably pick the same few playsets.
