I can boil down my experience with the following

>adc doesnt follow up
>stop engaging, play defensive
>they get poked down or engaged on
>i peel
>they die
I dont know what to do when the adc doesnt want to interact with anything other than the waves, even when we are actively losing the game every time.

level 2 is a pretty important part of dicating the rest of the lane. and desu by how you sound I think you're being disingenuous with this question

I play every support and do my best to pick something that favors both my adc and the enemy bot lane matchup. if up to me I would play xerath and just blast niggas the entire lane, I don't just play tanks and force bad fights if thats what you were getting at.
