A certain major gaming site will soon post an exclusive reveal of a huge expansion for Dragon's Dogma 2. It's not just a DLC, the base game is also getting a substantial free update that will go out to everyone at the same time as the expansion release.

First, the free update for the base game world.
>Loot overhaul - better gear can be found and chests have a random factor. Includes new gear
>A few new creature variants (not new types)
>Spawn points overhaul - less spammy and non-boss spawns now have random enemy selection
>A small number of high level dungeons have been added
>New QoL options, such as auto-continue dialogue
>Hard Mode

The DLC
>brand new snowy region similar in size to Vermund
>new enemies
>includes a sprawling dungeon, significantly larger than BBI
>designed to be highly replayable with both enemies & bosses having a random factor
>2 new vocations
>a few new skills for all vocations
>COOP has been added, but only within the DLC dungeon area
