>Suspicions raised even further when the doctor asks for a blood transfusion for your daughter and he says you're not compatible with her
>After an argument wife reveals that she's been seeing another man for years because you're barely around trying to make a living for the family and basically used you as a paypig
>Daughter flat out says she prefers her other daddy
>Get fired from your job because somebody made a huge-ass transfer on your account while you were out at the hospital and forgot to turn your computer off
>Wife divorces you, forced to work construction jobs in order to pay back your old job and alimony
>One day you're coughing up blood at work, can't afford any medical treatment
>Laying on your literal deathbed of a futon in your cheapo apartment that you had to move into dying
>Magic dude shows up to bring you to a new life of your choosing, but before he does that he shows you that the person your wife was cheating on was your former boss and that he was the one who embezzled the money that got you fired
>All this for the setup of "I was a nice guy in my old life, so now I'm going to be a villain in my new one!"

Literally one of the worst first episodes of a show I've watched in a long time. I almost always give a show the first 3-4 episodes before deciding this isn't worth my time, but very rarely do I decide something isn't worth my time after the first.
