Reporting back. I found my old copy. It was in really bad shape, and it had already been in bad shape when I acquired it used back in 2008 (I was 14 at the time and it was my first proper SF novel), so I thorougly (very thoroughly) taped it up. I taped it up to the point where it's basically laminated now lol. I even fixed the front and end pages which were starting to fall out a lil, and taped over the edges on both front and back covers. Yep, I taped that bitch the fuck up. Took me 40 fuckin minutes, too. I have no problem with it looking a bit janky as long as it doesn't fall apart y'know. It'll be fun reading my old copy. Guess I'll pick it up next after I'm finished my current book.
