If you're buying food with the intention of bringing it to share it's alot more autistic than baking and bringing it along, or bringing along food for yourself and offering it to a friend. The legacy playgroup at my LGS is tightly knit and I bring along some baking for the end of year gameday which is always followed by cube, but not for every normal event we play. Make sure to list any allergens too, I usually just write on a stickynote.
