Russia is focusing on nuclear Icebreakers, they seem to believe the future lies in the frozen north
The Yakutia was finished last year, the hull and reactor for the Chukotka are done, the leningrad and Stalingrad are planned for after the Chukotka is done.
And a as yet unamed super nuclear Icebreaker, know only as project 10510, is already being built, it's twin reactors are finished and they already got started on the hull, it'll be the biggest icebreaker ever, beating the previous record of the russian Arktika class nuclear icebreaker by about 40 meters.
