for me its S1. yeah its monster of the week but honestly I feel for this kind of show "don't explain the lore" is better. It doesn't hold up that well on rewatch honestly but in the 2000's this was magical to watch. Adding a dense plot to pre-internet, broadcast TV shows mostly sucks because 5+ minutes of every ep are recaps or repeated scenes. MoTW truly was the better format for this time period.

Also. The stock transformation sequence was, in retrospect, overused (they padded runtime hard lmao) but at the time it was like YEAH OP RIFF IS VAMPING GET ON YOUR RAZOR (TM) SCOOTERS & SKATEBOARDS WE ARE GOING TO CYBERSPACE BABY
