I find it hilarious how surprisingly effective Camerupt of all things has been for me in ADV, you need a lot of really good prediction, but you can come in for free against Zapdos, Skarm and a few other mons and always threaten a lot of things pretty hard, sure Waters typically switch for free against it, but not a single Water wants to eat an Explosion.
I find it such a shame how it's another gen 3 Pokemon ruined by Gamefreak's dogshit decision of making so many SLOW. FRAIL. MIXED ATTACKERS. It could have been a solid bulky special attacker. Also, why does it not get Slack Off? It's a slow and lazy camel/cow and the whole joke also works from the sense it's a volcano that usually remains dormant. Same fucking story with Snorlax, it wouldn't be broken with a good recovery move and it thematically fits perfectly.
