What I hate about most new development is the size. They often take up an entire city block, with 1-2 centralized entrances. This creates soulless streetscapes where an entire block is a concrete wall with no features.

In the past, buildings were built on narrower plots side-by-side, each one a different project with unique results. The streets were lined with entrances to businesses and homes.
