Fishing in Tower Unite is pretty good. Game's full of pronouns so be warned.
You select your bait which determines what kind of fish you can get, some baits will up the chances of getting sea junk, like furniture or gold.
You cast your line using the mouse, then you can move the bobber around within a circle. The fish will appear as transparent blue swimming around within that circle. Some fish are transparent orange which means they are rare, some have a question mark above them which means they have special items. You move your bobber in front of the fish to attract it's attention, similar to animal crossing fishing. When the fish is "hooked" a minigame appears on your screen and you have to keep your mouse cursor within a small radius of a circle that moves around the edge of a circle. If you fail to do this the fish will escape. Any fish or other items you collect can then be placed in your player housing, or sold for more in game currency.
The game's focus isn't really fishing, so it can be a bit of a hassle learning the UI/controls, acquiring a fishing rod and acquiring the bait. I'm sure there's guides and wiki about getting there though.
