That change happened to everything at the same time. Look at a 2014 Dodge Avenger car compared to any car made now. Does anyone even make four door sedans anymore? I think the last qwerty phones died around that time too and everything became a touch screen iphone knockoff from then on. Blackberry isn't even a company anymore and they were once so dominant that even the US president used one for official communications.
