In lore terms does anyone in the galaxy stand any chance whatsoever against a Necron fleet? Or would it be like a Thunder Child vs Martian tripod situation where even though the humans are basically just spear-chuckers in comparison, a big hunk ‘o steel still hurts like hell if it hits you no matter how advanced you are? Is that what a Necron ship commander feels like when he sees a broadside of macro cannon shots coming at him? “Let’s try not to be hit by that…” Also is it a matter of the technological mismatch being so great that a lot of the Necon’s advanced tech is useless against primitive opponents? Like, quantum field jammers with no quantum sensors to jam, disentanglement beams which are a waste of energy disentangling many meters of plasteel, etc?
