They're willing to stand by them but the issue is they seemingly only want to fund these really niche or mediocre games that you can tell from the onset are never going to be big and still take a long time to come out. It would be one thing if they are releasing these games every 3ish months after a year or two of development but as far as I recall Grounded took like three or four years to make. They also have really garbage studios like 343 fail upwards constantly.

It's insane to me how 343 has had a disastrous MCC launch then Halo 4, Halo 5, and now Halo Infinite come out all to massive disapproval from the fans and sales that as far as we know are below expectations. Instead of seemingly addressing the fact that 343 is incompetent, especially now that they've made their own custom engine for Infinite and blown who knows how much money on it only to jump to Unreal Engine, they've decided to keep the entire team on board and continue to give them Halo projects. They've proven themselves not worth investing money or time into with that brand. Let them make literally anything else since they don't understand Halo and give someone else Halo because the company started just to make Halo games isn't good at it.

They've milked Gears of War to death at this point and know for a fact everyone from 4 and 5 are unlikable yet don't know when to let a sleeping dog lie and keep making more and more GoW titles despite running it into the ground. Now they're making a prequel game if I remember right.

Where in the world are their daring new IPs? The Xbone at least attempted it with ReCore, Sunset Overdrive, and Quantum Break. Hi-Fi Rush was one which they immediately kneecapped and they have literally nothing on the horizon that's not an existing brand from another existing company. Where is their Uncharted? God of War? The Last of Us? They for some reason think Hellblade is a major IP of theirs when it's a fairly niche one yet put Senua on par with Master Chief.
