You know I was kinda thinking but are elves meant to be humans but better or not? Cause now that I remember, often while they are better in magic or more agile they aren't necessarily stronger or have some vulnerability to miasma.
Usually some highly trained humans tend to best them in magic too or something like that. Hell even in Lord of the Rings they didn't seem to be that much higher than humans in the scale.
How much is attributed to older age? I never bothered with this kind of elf lore now that I think about it.
Aside Eragon cause in Eragon they are better in everything period.
