Still going to keep making wives for two more anons interested, but I thought I could drop my current character in the meantime.
> Tobias "Tobi" Clockwell
> Reborn
> Clockwork Soul Sorcerer
> After waking up in an abandoned laboratory surrounded by blueprints for clockwork organs, Tobias quickly put together that he was a created being-- a sentient mechanism designed for a purpose. His creator was a prodigious young artificer named Gabriel Knightly, who used his own body as the vessel for his greatest creation.
> Tobias is connected to the setting equivalent of Mechanus via his clockwork innards, granting him magic that affects the order of the universe in very small ways. His spells cause audible clockwork noises, conjure phantom mechanisms, and occasionally give his skin a brassy sheen.
> As he's technically an undead/construct, he doesn't need air or food or sleep-- but he does rest occasionally and try to access the memories Gabriel's body seems to maintain.
> Tobias has a personality full of childlike wonder and eager-to-please enthusiasm, often willing to help a friend and insistent on following through with his commitments no matter what. He's curious, organized, and puts a great deal of faith in others-- too much, really. He can be awfully naive, but not stupid.
> He's also incredibly charismatic, on account of Gabriel having been a skinny, handsome young man who took good care of himself. The surgical scars don't do much to detract from this appearance, nor do the metal rivets, staples and plates throughout his body, but they do give him an uncanny and intimidating appearance when his more robotic behaviors show through. He's also, in contrast to his cheerful persona, rather apathetic about life and ending it. Really, the thing that matters most to him is working out what he's supposed to do-- and doing it. But he's also enjoying being a living being, in the meantime.
