The potential for things to go horribly wrong is almost unlimited. They already met some college dandies, but they turned out to be a bit of a bore so it's back to shopping around.

So who’s been the best girl in these threads?

Aight, ive been waiting for a new thread to propose a funny challenge. This character already has a girlfriend in game cause i rolled one that was kind of hilariously fitting (Cyberpunk/Mekton Lifepath shit is always hilarous), but i wanna see how close the thread can get to her. The Waifu Anons are very good at making fitting wives after all.

For character details, The basic gist is this: System is Mekton Zeta + Gundam Senki additions, the game is set in the gundam UC universe, the character is a Feddie OYW vet whos has been frankensteining a Ground Gundam to the point its like 4 different mobile suits to go hunt Zeeks cause he really fucking hates them. It got to the point the titans just let him into their organization cause he was already doing their job.

Theres a lot more detail of course considering this is a finished game (for now) but this is a decent starting point i think. Questions are welcome, and remember, this is just for fun, i dont plan on this holding up actual waifus being made.

Princess Bethany was the eldest child of Prince Philip of Caduvia and his wife Adela. Three years after she was born, Princess Bethany’s mother Adela gave birth to her younger brother, Lathen. Princess Bethany was showered with love and attention from her father as she grew up. She was also close to her younger brother Lathen. The young prince was clearly his mother’s favorite. This caused tension between mother and daughter. In fact Queen Adela seemed jealous of the attention Princess Bethany received from her father.

Princess Bethany enjoyed horseback riding, playing with her dogs and taking walks in the royal gardens, admiring the splendor of the flowers and fountains. Her favorite flowers were lilies, due to their aroma. Princess Bethany also developed an interest in theater and plays, often attending them with glee. As she matured into adolescence, Princess Bethany grew into a conventional princess known for her beauty and charm. The tension between her and her mother, the queen, started to escalate at around this time as well.

[Shadowrun] Elizabeth "Tinkerbell" Klein is a veteran drone rigger for the UCAS Air Force specializing in electronic warfare. After mustering out, she went into academia but got pulled into the shadows during her postdoc when an old military buddy needed a favor...and once you're in, it's hard to get back out.

She's a gnome, and while she isn't full "rigger who lives in a cocoon and uses drones for all interaction", her time in the military taught her exactly how small she is. She's from Vermont and likes the outdoors despite being fairly bookish and dry. She normally dresses quite formally on the theory that it will help others take her more seriously. She's mostly gay, and ideally would want to date another Jew, but the supply of lesbians attracted to someone who looks like a 10 year old who aren't pedophiles is low enough that she isn't too picky.

So, I like the idea of romance in games for the same reasons I like playing games in general: In real life I feel kind of lowly and I like vicariously living through better human experiences. Romance is another part of the human experience I'm missing because I'm a loser, and it's another thing I'd like to experience in my RPGs for the same reason I romanced Tali in Mass Effect.
But I just find it so fucking awkward to have these experiences with the other guys in my friend group. I like cheesy romance stuff, but I'm too mortified to roleplay that shit with my buddies.

I'll toss a hat in the ring.

This is Lord (formerly Sir) Victor Chandler.

A nobleman from a city called Athon, he and his House were responsible for overseeing the security of the city. This included duties ranging from managing the guards to overseeing inspections at the docks. From his childhood, his father raised him with views that valued the supremacy of the human species above all others, and their divine right to rule over the planet.

Eventually, Sir Chandler was left with the House to himself after his parents passed. Under some bizarre circumstances spurred by the death of another Lord's son to which the Lord Athon was partially responsible, Lord Athon was deposed and Sir (now Lord) Chandler was put in his place.

His first order of business was to evict all non-humans from the city, much to the excitement of the human population who felt safer without the threat of halfling pickpockets or elven mages capable of mind tricks. These fears were mostly just born of stereotypes, but it worked to secure Lord Chandler's popularity among the humans of his city.

His primary goal above all else is to see that humans achieve absolute world domination - with all other species either subjugated or confined to their own countries away from humans. With all that said, his motivation doesn't come from a hatred or dislike of non-humans, but rather a deep patriotic devotion to his own species.

System is PF2e. Truth is this is an NPC of mine because I'm a Forever GM but I figured it'd be fun to see what anyone might come up with, especially because I have plans for him to get a wife eventually.

Further fun fact: His darkest secret is that he possesses Witch powers as a result of a deal he made with a devil when he was young and naive at 15. Despite his apprehensions, the devil assured him that the powers he would be given would help him pursue his goals of aiding humanity. In exchange, he was to impregnate the devil, but the devil didn't tell him that the result of this would be 100 tiefling children - who at some point may or may not seek out their father eventually for one reason or another. This information becoming public knowledge would cause a catastrophe for the new Lord.

He eventually became aware of these children but couldn't practically stop them, and intends to at some point have them all assassinated - whenever he can find adventurers who don't mind going to Hell and murdering some "demons".

To contribute and also reassure you guys that I'm here for this thread, give a waifu name and I'll tell you who they'd cosplay in a modern setting.

Yes, as he's not bent on genocide and he's not foolish enough to think so aggressively that certain compromises can't be made. My PCs have compared him to Hitler but he has no interest in wiping non-humans entirely off the planet and can recognize their talents/usefulness in certain cases.

One story that happened, the party got Arthur's home back so we're reestablishing the keep. His older brother shows back up and claimed he got amnesia. Arthur wholeheartedly believed it and left him in charge since it would be his by right. Gisela (his sister) wasn't convinced that their brother lived since she didn't see anyone escape. They had a feast to celebrate. Arthur became more cheerful and relaxed. The alleged brother then started giving positions of power to the party and tax breaks to the party. The Admiral (party rogue) was gifted all the ships they had which was the biggest red flag for Arthur. The party confronted the impostor, and it turns out he was a changeling. Which Arthur was going to kill on the spot, but Gisela stopped him and wanted the Changeling to serve as her servant to repent.

For taste in women and minor stuff from the campaign, one of the early sessions he got drunk and flirted with a barmaid. He also has a situationship with the Admiral. He finds her attractive and is admires that she's free to do whatever she wants. But he gets irritated how self-centered she is. There were a couple sessions where we went to the capital for a ball. He managed to do some flirting during that and sat down to have tea with the princesses, but I think all of it was shallow. The former was for information and the latter was hoping to get an ally.

I don't think he has a strong preference on race but I think he leans towards tomboyish women.

Homebrew. The entire planet is geographically (roughly speaking) identical to earth. Athon, renamed to the City of Man under Chandler's rule is about where Padstow/Rock/Porthilly in our-world England is, although the river running through that area was redirected underground a looong time ago so the whole city is completely paved over but has access to the fresh water.

Here's a map for your reference, if you're curious. Some of the letters are weird because I'm autistic and made a phonetic alphabet for the world - I'll approximate them to English for this post. Highlights:
>Luthan (lower left) is the capital of the province, where the Count resides. The power structure of the country organically goes King > Count > Lord. King rules the country, Count rules a province, and Lord rules a city. One from a tier up can replace one from a tier below at will. All tiers have total authority over their respective jurisdictions, but must obey the orders and laws from a tier above unless negotiated otherwise.
>Most cities are named for their ruler, with few exceptions. Thus, Silen is ruled by Lord (Vance) Silen, Gwelen by Lord (Kroko) Gwelen, so on.

A small and valorous armor knight who swore an oath to protect the innocent. Despite his diminutive stature, when he fights he strikes and defends with force that feels utterly impossible for someone so small. He calls this "the true size of a knight" and offers no explanation to it - leaving it ambiguous as to what and who exactly he is - and if the little knight seen isn't the real knight.

In terms of personality, Rook is exactly what you'd expect from a code abiding knight - honor, virtue, bravery, steadfastness, and a distinct stubbornness that can be assumed the moment he begins speaking. In a word, "Chivalrous" so long as said world is spoken with distinct enthusiastic assertion - or written in bold, ornate, overbearing font.

A Faun Brawler named Bishop. Towering over her would-be lover, this martial artist hails from a band of nomads who Rook aided during an ambush. She finds the little knight endlessly endearing and agrees strongly with his code of honor.

That said, she is a bit coarser than him from her years on the road. A touch flirty, and prone to diminutive nicknames, overly eager to face stronger foes, and a fiery temper to tame-- but she's a steadfast companion who admires Rook too much to stray far, and aspires to his valorous ways as much as to his martial prowess. She just has to learn to tame her chaos-goblin ways. She also has a hobby of making dresses out of old clothes, but keeps it a secret because it embarrasses her to admit she enjoys wearing a skirt from time to time.

She's doing her best.

I'm not super familiar with Pathfinder but cursory glances at rules I intended her to be a hybrid of Interrogator and Fighter. The other ideas I had originally was a human that was enslaved or slighted by some other species so she became super dedicated to his cause(which morphed into Claudia), a half-elf that's just an uncle tom because her elven side slighted her so she's helping Victor to spite them, and then an elf foreigner that would aid Victor for some sort of long term goal. The elf/half-elf idea more was more because in my group the most racist character ends up being a race traitor.

She'd be able to cosplay any character using Disguise Self or Alter Self. She'd use the former for cosplay where the outfit is the most important part (a good Malenia armor is hard to get) and the latter for when it's only the body and the outfit itself is easily done (a good Lara Croft outfit is easy, she'd never fit in one in her normal body though). I could particularly see her going to a convention as Malenia (almost purely to get Ordus in a Let Me Solo Her outfit, and partially to show off that she can handle a sword) or Gwynevere from Dark Souls (wouldn't have to alter her looks or figure, just get the outfit), probably with Chosen Undead Ordus to complete the look.

Vys Draugh-bod, escaped from his noble family and assumed the identity of Randall. The Draugh-bods are technically bodyguards, a knight house tasked with the protection of the royal family. Despite their pretense of honor, the Draugh-bod are cruel and pigheaded, which lead Vys, who was a scholar at heart, to run away in the pursuit of other ways to perfect his art as a warrior. He joined a mercenary house, then a bunch of stuff happened, was killed through torture, hunger and thirst, came back to life, travelled the world trying to save it, and is currently on the cusp of defeating Strahd.

I think I described him as sort of an asshole but he's actually pretty concerned about the wellness of others, someone you'd call lawful good. He values knowledge but not above the common good, and he prizes his prowess as a warrior but not to the point that he is vainglorious.

Multiclass. If Malenia's katana is dex based Eva would get a +4 to use it, which is better than a town guard or bandit at least. I might roll a combat some time to see how she'd go.

I really should have replied to this. This is 3.5 so he's a human fighter with levels in Warblade and Eternal Blade (don't ask). He's level 13 currently, his weapon of choice is the spiked chain - a weapon through which he has learned to overcome stronger enemies using his wits rather than brute force. (Before I am accused of min-maxing, my guy has something like 16 to INT, 12 to STR and 14 to DEX. I am flavormaxxing).

I appreciate it anon but I'm just going to bump this thread this last time myself to announce a brief hiatus. Everyone's too busy for it at the moment, and a bit burned out, myself included, so I'll give it maybe a week or so, then post a new one once I have four finished requests to post in succession. It'll give time for people to miss it if they're going to, and taking the pressure off for a little will free up creativity.
