I really really really don't understand how switching to 3d models is cheaper then to make 2d sprites.
You can reuse all of the 2d sprites and animations from previous hd games and no one would ever complain, switching to 3d means you have to remake absolutely everything starting from scratch.
Another thing thats insanely retarded is they just remake the new characters in 2d sprites anyway for the mobile game and give them multiple outfits, I don't fucking get it when they say its cheaper especially when they do both.
