Their perception of Linux as difficult to use, combined with the expectation that every post on 4chan is some kind of argument, they interpret "I use Linux btw" as code for "haha you're too stupid to use Linux", and thus merely seeing a screenshot of a Linux desktop or a cute render of Tux the penguin makes them feel as if they're under attack.
