NTA but I think you might be right. I remember winning 2 KOTs with the Para-Biddybud + Fine Thumper making me have the highest acceleration in the game in exchange for having the most dogshit speed and weight (you can imagine this setup being one of the worst in the game). I was skeptical/disappointment at first during the pre release season when they eliminated interchangeable kart customization but I can see why it's a good thing now. If this 7/8DX you've heavyweight minmax faggotry all over again with trying to make their acceleration stat not so terrible to be able dominate entire races again. Kart customization in World is pretty much you picking a combo based on your personal feelings towards it and rocking with it.
