I think an underrated aspect of TP is how it molds Link into a capable young man of a character. You’re strong because you’ve been herding brawny oxen who can get unruly. You’re a farm boy and can handle yourself enough, but then you’re given practical devices to improve your efficacy in the world and become stronger.
