OK so now it's 1924 and the VFL wants to expand. They want to take in Footscray who have been tearing it up in the VFA, as well as another strong club in North Melbourne. Hawthorn are plebocrats who want to really be with the big boys too even though they are utter garbage.

You really want Footscray in? They're good now, but before you know it they'll be rattling tins and leeching off handouts forever. The supporters are way too plastic to sustain the team.

North Melbourne? We already have enough riff raff with Port Melbourne. Don't need that garbage.

And Hawthorn can fuck off. They don't deserve anything.

I also warn the league that we can't bring in too many teams. Look at what happened in WW1. Something like thst could happen again very soon. Also, if we want to be forward thinking and make this a national league, we can't be filling up too many spots with Victorian teams.

But we need to do something about the bye, and we definitely need one more team for prestige.

I'm thinking outside the box. I'm instead looking l at the Melbourne District footy league and bringing in Camberwell. A financial giant in a fast growing area in the outer eastern suburbs, the potential of this club is enormous.
