I think the first third of Suite wouldn't be as entertaining if it wasn't because of their chaotic friendship, they're each other's bff yet their opposite personalities clash constantly which make the episodes way more fun and their bonding moments even more precious. I always assume the "Kanade le evil" thing is just a meme like Rin being "the worst cure" because she was a meanie once, and so far they haven't changed my mind about that
