The official narrative of science is that the dinosaurs all died out with the Yucatan meteor, BUT they lived to evolve into modern animals in spite of dying out. For realsies. No shit. And within that tyime there's "intermediate stages" in between dinosaur and birds where feathers first appeared. So they go ahead and assume that T-Rexs and other dinosaurs looked like big chickens........in the name of science of course.
