i had to make the hangar/garage external. i tried shaving off the top of the pyramid to fit the landing pad and it stopped looking like a pyramid. i tried attaching it directly to the pyramid like a deck/patio and it was too large relative to the size of the pyramid and looked bad.

i built on a very steep hill so half of the interior of my pyramid isn't accessible. with the flat land you've got, you might be able to integrate something a bit more naturally. almost the whole thing is made out of parts form the incline and wedge wall categories. use the screenshots ive posted for ideas on using those shapes.
