maybe.
the translation is listed as 100% so the demon negotiation problems would purely be a hacking problem if that is the problem.
it would probably be annoying going through all the hex values and making sure you get every demon conversation.
and then making sure none of your dialogue edits broke the game and added bugs.

i am that other anon (unless you mean the guy who used to shill it here a year or 2 ago).
i was the only one bringing up giten in this thread and i posted about my playthrough yesterday.
the magic build does make things easier especially on pc 98 because that magic blocking spell, mahorogi or whatever it was called, can be used on enemies so you can block dantalion's magic.
15 at the beginning isn't even a huge grind.
with no grinding you'd be like 10-12 at the second dantalion fight which is only annoying because you have to go through a bunch of a dialogue over if you die and get through the dungeon again.
but the actual dungeon part isn't actually that long.
and dantalion can kill you fast if you don't hurry and get your buffs up or cancel his magic.
there was someone who documented his playthrough in english who said he grinded to level 30 to beat dantalion.
i think that's who you're thinking of.
it's not the worst thing ever but it is unforgiving if you're unprepared.
still a great game so far and has an excellent intro.
