Unironically true. You can play whoever you want, but there's a reason why you only ever see the same four or five characters in play. Don't even get me started on Chun. I like Chun, I think she's fun, but I feel like a tool whenever I play her.

Yes, but her buttons are just too good. Even at low level play, she's still OP. Not bullshit, but still leagues above the rest of the cast.

To add to this: a dogshit roster as well. I don't hate it, 3rd Strike gives us a lot of cool fan favorites, but I'd be lying if I said I wouldn't rewrite history in a heartbeat and have SFIII with the classic characters + the cooler 3rd Strike characters as newcomers. Literally the only reason they didn't do that was because they were too scared to follow up SFII.
