We don't know much, mainly that it had multiple playable characters instead of Boostnic & Werehog, and it was shelved due to Sega dropping Dreamcast and going full-multiplat. My guess that that it involved some early version of the Gaia mythology and possibly expanded on the broken moon since that seemed like that should have been a much bigger deal that connected to the next game.
