I never understood the claim that bethesda makes the best open world immersive experiences in games.

Don’t get me wrong I love their games and no other developer quite makes the same experience but to call them realistic is missing the point

To me bethesda makes the best virtual playsets. Their towns being like 9 building and 13 people remind me of being a kid and playing with action figures where id build a town out shoeboxes and cardboard.

Hell even the jankiness of the npcs reminds me of toys when you’d bash your darth vader and donatello action figures together to make them fight.
