naw I like morrowind and I think feedback on melee is lackluster. I think a good solution would be a combat log sort of like Shadow Tower (pic related), where the damage you inflicted would appear like, in the corner of the screen. Put that above the enemy health bar and just have a "miss" show up when you whiff and the problem is solved.
