You don't even have to do the 'over-the-road' thing if you don't want to.
There are lots of driving jobs with local routes where you're home every day.

Just find a legit driving school like a local technical college.
They will defer payment until you get your first job.
Mine was a 10 week program, cost 3k and I had it paid off in the first couple months of work.

I only work four days a week and I make more money than every other job I ever had.
