I guess I'll be the rare retard in the room, but I don't like this.
Not because of a shitty game getting canned and a bunch of DEI "devs" getting laid off, but because studios with great devs get bought out by big corpos like Microsoft, then get raped beyond belief where 90% of their staff gets exchanged for DEI hires who can't make anything good or decent, and then eventually get shut down.
If you look at the grander picture, shit's still fucked. Unless something actually starts changing for the better in the near future or the whole industry just crashes and burns, and eventually rises back up.
