Right, so you're not going to address the points made in the first video and apparently analysing a one minute video goes above your heads so let me do this for you:

>the officer address the group as "fresh mean for the grinder"
>he quips at the girl, either referring to the fact the navy is taking heavy losses or that she won't end up in the brutal ground combat
>military intelligence is referred to as "games and theory". This poor attempt at masking its true purpose is immediately decoded by the characters, so why is it named like that? The fact that something as dangerous and far-reaching is replaced with an innocent term is telling, as is its association with children. The obvious parallel would be 1984 with a similar naming convention (particularly it's ministries "of love/peace") - everyone knows their true purpose but everyone plays along... for a reason
>Carl's reaction to finding out he will have power over others, including a military veteran who lost 3 limbs speaks for itself. As does the "mobile infantry made me the man I am today" quote and Rico's reaction.

I can understand fans of the book being pissed because the movie leaves out the context, namely the deliberateness of the act, which dramatically changes the tone. However, we're talking about the movie: as an adaptation, it's free to take its own course and it's very (well, apparently not) clear the movie government is pretty fucking shit at its job. I cannot imagine seeing the final sequence with Rico addressing actual kids and thinking "damn, those guys are doing great!".

But no, instead of presenting your case it's better to call me a redditor (incorrectly too, because my post wasn't an example of "reddit spacing"). I'm curious, why aren't you calling >>63993035 a redditor as well? Is it because it agrees with your sentiment? Finally, congratulations for falling for an astroturfed movement ("4chan vs reddit") peddled by /pol/
