Black Clover has influence from Berserk and plenty of things like that too. The arc where he goes to not-Japan after losing to recover (but stronger) reminded me of Hokuto no Ken's Ashura arc too.
I kind of wonder, if they ever re-do Asta vs Deku (unlikely but fun to think about) will they make the anti-magic cover quirks? I kind of doubt it but it always made sense to me, or else Asta's main gimmick is kind of pointless.
