Trans people often are biological essentialist because they don't have the luxury of ignoring biology like cissies, but at the same time recognize how important socialization is. The resulting worldview is unique and often leads to smart critiques being posted on /tttt/ of all places. But this leaves trans people as political orphans that don't fit in with wordcel leftists, nor biological essentialist rightists (fascists) that reject trans people for different reasons. Maybe as such a fringe minority this was inevitable, but it's scary to be pushed by the currents of history without knowing where we'll end up. The solution may very well be the ancient female strategy of just being cute and lovable for whichever side prevails.
