I have a entire flock of pardoned birds. I'll pardon one for you and it will die of old age and disease instead of quickly....sorry that's a joke. It will live out it's life, but it usually sucks seeing them towards the end and hurting. If it makes you feel any better I don't hold any higher standard for myself than I do the other living things around me and feel no ill will if I fuck up, hit my leg one day and bleed out in a field.

There are things worse than death. I had a duck get injured and I spent a week picking maggots out of a festering wound. All I did was prolong a agonizing death. Just keep in mind there is a fate in life worse than 3 seconds on a block and 30 second fade.

I love life. But death isn't that bad. It's gonna make room for someone else. My son doesn't need me looming over him forever.
